Grovrito is a leading developer of treatments for Grover's Disease and other acantholytic diseases for which there are no approved treatments.   Currently we have a   topical drug in a small Grovers Disease demonstration proof of concept human trial. It is being conducted by one of the leading CRO's in the derm space. The results of this study are expected by year end. Grovrito expects to raise an equity round early 2019.

Grovrito is led by several experienced drug developers including those with topical drug development and commercialization experience.

Grovrito is developing treatments for acantholytic diseases for which there are no approved tratments.

Our lead drug has shown early efficacy for treatment and elimination of the symptoms of Grover’s Disease including elimination of papules and papulovesicles, redness and pruritus.

Primary Acantholytic diseases include:

Grover’s Disease (GD),
Hailey-Hailey disease (HHD),
Darier’s disease,
Staphylococcal scaled skin syndrome (SSSS),
Bullous impetigo,
Pemphigus vulgaris,
Pemphigus follaceus and their variants.

In these primary acantholytic diseases, dissociation and disintegration of desmosomes leads to the separation of keratinocytes.

Grovrito is currently working with a leading dermal contract research laboratory to conduct a demonstration proof of concept human trial. This is a limited trial which is expected to be completed by year end. The results, together with Grovrito’s IP portfolio, will be used to raise funds for the clinical development of our drug.
